At the most basic level we can take your manuscript, typeset and format the layout, place any necessary images and create an electronic file for printing. The time involved in this step varies according to the size and complexity of the book, but it is billed at an hourly rate and you are only charged for the actual time that it takes.

The most cost effective option is if you have page layout experience on the computer and can provide the book already laid out in Quark or Pagemaker or as a press ready PDF. We must strongly caution, however, that anyone preparing a file in this manner accepts the responsibility for the integrity of all files, fonts and images. Should the job encounter problems we would fix them if we are able, but the cost would be billed to you. We would then prepare the files for printing; including all trapping, imposition and proofing.
